A Fair and Balanced Post

It’s nice to see Karl Rove publicly acknowledge the reality of the electoral math that I mentioned in this past week’s super-awesome “Friday Morning Fix” (Sign up for it on the right sidebar.) The math shows an Obama victory all but guaranteed at this point. Yes, I know, anything can happen but I’m guessing he will play it safe for the next 29 days. Skeletons from his closet are not a big worry either. Remember, Obama survived a year-long battle against the Clintons, their supporters, and their army of private investigators. If there were anything to muck up from the past if would have been slung by now.

Sean Hannity’s interview with Sarah Palin was pure propaganda; a Sarah “Barracuda” Palin infomercial. Hannity is one of the many reasons why Fox News is almost unbearable to watch. From the giddy girlie-men who haunt the morning hours, through Cavuto’s gargantuan head, Shep, Brit Hume and the loofah-man himself, Bill O’Reilly – it is anything but “Fair and Balanced.” Can we all agree on that?

If you want a short, objective and reasonably tough criticism of our presidential choices, see this article in the Economist.

I’d comment more on the vice presidential debate but it’s easier to let Saturday Night Live summarize it for you. The guy playing Biden does a great job.

  1. We’ll have to wait and see what happens. Count your eggs now and you may end up disappointed later.
