About My Theme: WP-Vybe by Solostream
I’ve already had a few people ask about my new design. When I decided to completely overhaul my blog I looked at hundreds of potential themes. I ended up using WP-Vybe because it meets my two criteria – (1) it looks cool and different from other blogs, and (2) the designer offers good support.
Personally, I love the look. But if/when my preferences change the entire theme can be reconfigured pretty easily with lots of options. Most of it is pretty straight forward or help can easily be found on the WP-Vybe website. In the few cases that I haven’t been able to find the answers to my questions, my emails to Mike (the designer) were answered almost immediately and everything was resolved quickly. Responsiveness goes a long way with me and good support is extremely important because although I do the dashboard work myself, my focus is on content.
A lot of my favorite features are built right into the theme. For example, I love the “featured posts” section at the top of the main page. Take a second to scroll through them. It’s a smooth ride, no? I also love the roll-over feature in the “Blogs I read” section (or blogroll). The comments explain what I think about those blogs which helps to put my own posts and opinions in a fuller context. As a result, my readers know more about where I’m coming from. Some of these features are “no-brainers” for techies, but Solostream makes them easy for everyone.
If you’re serious about blogging it’s worth it to make the investment in a cool, well-supported theme. WP-Vybe is both.

Have you considered making your top image (the one with the picture of you writing wider to fit the entire header image. Like we did at http://www.jamooza.com
