Skit or Campaign Commercial?

Personally, I find this clip from Saturday Night Live hilarious. But at what point does a skit cross the line from parody and turn into an unpaid campaign commercial? This one seems to come close.

  1. I see what you mean. It is hilarious, but the overexposure could result in people actually liking these guys!! I hope not!!! that could turn out to be the worse 4 years in American History … or 16 years!!! lol

  2. If it’s hilarious — it’s not a campaign commercial.

  3. Absolutely hilarious but I do see what you’re pointing out. NBC at its best… This skit on Fox would be Obama getting an endorsement from Osama Bin Laden.

  4. Laughed my A$% off. Not a commercial though. Obama didnt approve it at the end!

  5. Muahaha … an endorsement by a drugged out, joking loser is no endorsement at all ;)

Loved the digs at America’s Torquemada.
